The New, NEW Beta!

Welcome to the Reinvigorate blog! As we move closer to the public launch of the new Reinvigorate, this is where we’ll be publishing updates on our development. First on the agenda: telling you about the all-new Reinvigorate system we’re building — soon to be released to current users and new Beta testers. Details after the jump!
Where Have We Been?!
Reinvigorate has been an ongoing passion-project, with several iterations over the years. When creating the service, the vision was to create an analytics engine based on real-time visitor interactions. After the initial offering, we were completely blown away and admittedly unprepared for the interest in Reinvigorate as a no-charge service. So much interest, in fact, that in order to maintain a high quality of service, we began to queue up Beta invites. Since it was a side project and not a full-time gig, growth and improvements were a bit slower than we would have liked… but then came the next chapter of the Reinvigorate story.
About a year ago, we were approached by our longtime hosting sponsor, (mt) Media Temple, with an offer we just couldn’t refuse. They asked us to join the (mt) Ventures group of companies and we jumped at the chance. We could finally work on Reinvigorate full-time with the benefit of the added resources (mt) could bring to the table. Immediately we began working on a platform capable of supporting continuous growth.
So here we are, 2009, and still in beta, working diligently to constructing a new analytics engine with a serious emphasis on “scalability.” Our new engine is built to continue to scale with increasing traffic, aggregating more data than it ever could before! What does this means for our users? New features, in-depth reports, more relevant stats and what we hope will be the fastest, most efficient web stats engine ever created!
The NEW Beta
Near the end of the quarter, when the new system is ready for roll out, we’ll begin the process of migrating existing accounts over onto the new beta. At that time, we’ll also send out a block of new beta invites to people who are still waiting in the beta queue. We appreciate your patience during Reinvigorate’s multi-year evolution. Now here’s a sneak peak at some of the new features you’ll find in the new system.
Heatmaps

The feature that seems to excite our users the most is this new Heat Map Report. Nothing beats a Heat Map to help correct dead spots in your content and identify what users are most actively engaged in on your pages.
Page Details

All of the metrics we previously offered — plus a few more — are also available in detail for each page of your site. You can now drill-down to each page and get the granular information you need, adding a new level of value to your web stats.
New Graphing Engine

The reports are sporting new (and larger) metric line graphs — complete with trend line/curve controls, of course. Bar graphs are overlaid onto tabulated metric summaries. This gives you the best of both the line and bar chart representations, together.
Bounce Rates & More

By popular request, we’re now tracking bounce rates, site/page visit durations and referrers/searches — all broken down by origin.
Stay Tuned!
What you’re seeing here is just a highlight of features to be included in the new system. In the coming weeks we’ll post more information regarding our progress and development milestones, keeping you updated on the kind of features you can expect from the long-awaited refresh of Reinvigorate.
Anything Else?
Yes! We want to hear from you. Building an awesome stats engine requires your help. So use the comments to send us your thoughts, feature requests or just to say hi. We’re listening.
Feel free to register for the beta by clicking the registration link above, and while you’re waiting for that invite, stay updated by subscribing to the blog and follow us on twitter too!

Keep up the good work!
Ideally, it would be nice to have also Google Adsense into the Reinvigorate =)
I can’t wait for the new beta guys, I’ve been a hardcore Reinvigorate user back since you guys launched in 2002.
Good work guys!
We are also waiting the iPhone App, Reinvigorate need urgently an API!
Hey guys! Just stopped buy to say thanks for Re:invigorate – been using it for like… let me think… 3 years or so – it’s great and only getting better over time! Thanks for your work!
The heatmaps looks amazing. Keep up the good work.
I would love to see how this Beta turns out… especially the heatmaps function.
Thanks a lot for Reinvigorate!

Bochenn
I cant wait! Ive been using you guys since 2007! Still love your service!
I have been using your service for what seems like forever. Looking forward to the new beta!
An iPhone app would completely ROCK! I would even pay a few bucks for one.
Reinvigorate is the best analytics software for real time stats. I can’t wait for the new beta. Keep up the good work.

This looks absolutely fantastic! I’ll be crossing my fingers in hopes of being on the beta list.
Any idea when the heat maps will be available?
Looks good, specially the heatmaps. Also the page drill down and bounce rate will definitely make the analytics much more fun
Hello,
I’m a (dutch) user (from the start) and big fan of Re-Invigorate.
There is one thing I’d like to be changed: the stats report displays the most frequent paths visitors take across the site. I’d rather see the most recent paths visitors take across the site.
Something I really miss actually in Reinvigorate is a monthly report of visitors by location, actually you can see this information only about the latest visitors :-/
I just checked the report by location Daniel mentioned, and I noticed that the details of those visitors (Ip adresses) were certanly not those of the latest visitors!!
I looked back 40 days but coulnd’t find them there either!
Reinvigorate is not dead after all, great news!
I’m using Reinvigorate since 2 years and i love it, great work guys!!!
Thanxxx!
Glad that you got a new blog.. Am waiting for the new beta launch, really satisfied with the performance of the current state of the app..
Good luck guys.!
Heat map is so cool!
Hi, thanks for RE service. Really enjoying it from 2006 and still using it at large for my project. Keep up the good work.
Heatmap would be a great push to a better analysis. But with all new features please keep on real-time reporting path, because for past analysis we’ve have GA.
Awesome. A blog.
Been a reinvigorate user since the beginning and have never used anything else. I even suggested you guys to MT (Alex Capehart) and blogged about it.. http://iantearle.com/blog/reinvigorate-comes-to-mt
Looking forward to seeing if RE comes to the new account centre from MT?
Oh and am eagerly awaiting (as are others) to see if you will release an API???
Great job, will not stop recommending you!
I want to try it…..please
Is it really useful to “register” to the beta even if we already have an account on reinvigorate?
Anyway, the work looks awesome and I can’t wait to try it
Excited for this
This looks great!
Finally an analytic tool that seems both functional and with a smooth beautiful design. But, as a flash designer/developer – will it work on flash sites?
I can figure that the heat map etc won’t work, but what about visitor statistics? At the moment, the best tool for tracking traffic in flash sites are in my opinion Google Analytics.
I’m looking forward to get on the Beta. So Exciting! Can’t wait!
I’m really looking forward to getting a crack at trying this. I signed up for the beta months ago, and I’m looking forward to a Google Analytics alternative. Reinvigorate looks like the tool for our company, but I don’t know if one login supports multiple sites – couldn’t find any information and couldn’t see any way to preview it as a demo.
I’ve been using reinvigorate since 2002 and love love love it. Can’t wait to see what you guys come up with. Hope you’re paid services won’t be rediculous money though like some stat counter sites are
Just signed up for the beta – Reinvigorate looks SO promising! One warning, though: Whatever you do, please, please, please do not make reinvigorate a pay-to-use service, or one of those junky ones that makes you have to pay to get stats on any more than 500 visitors. This is such a great service and you’ll ruin it all by making your users pay for it. Don’t do it!
I’m working with a tv celebrity client and real estate clients and would like to integrate reinvigorate into their sites. I’ll compare against Google Analytics and write a review/comparison. I write great testimonials too : )
I have been registered for over a year waiting to get on to the beta. Hopefully now I am a Media Temple hosting customer some will send me an invite!
Im so darn excited about this program! Keep it up!
Hey Reinvigorate,
Where are the new Beta Invites?!
I have been waiting for what seems like a year or more here now. I’m more than anxious to get in here and kick the tires, have some fun, and party like it’s 1999.

I’m Fan!
Account migrated!
Tnx for all
Waiting for Heatmap
Wow awesome ! Thank you very much, keep up the good work *_*
Great features! I hope I’ll receive an invite.
Will this beta have “http proxy” support?
So far, so good!
Hola People behind Reinvigorate,
I’ve been Reinvigoreiting for ages… and I’ll do it for the next too…
Congrats…
Great job! I love the new UI
Awesome apu. Looks great, easy to use, powerful yet easily interpretable. Spot on. Welldone all…
Digital Hint :: Would love an API. Imagine 3D Charting Apps as plugins etc!
Keerrching… (!)
Happy to build or chat as always!
For those of you wanting to build your own snoopers, I’ve hacked together a little PHP script that uses the same “API” as Reinvigorate’s own Snoop.
http://github.com/worldeggplant/Snoopre_me
I currently use it at work to play a part of Wu-Tang Clan – C.R.E.A.M. on every purchase from our online store. Sweet stuff.
Also, BETA!
Regarding “no charge”: I administer a high-traffic site for a large state University, several million page-views per month. Is this something Reinvigorate can handle?
I’ve contemplated an online solution, but we seem to be well past the free options in most cases.
So good! Great job!! Thanks.
Oh. Page titles in Russian are not normally displays in PC version of scope. It will be great if u’ll fix it. Thanks!
You guys might want to recheck the File Description and Company field in the snoop.exe for PC. Currently it shows “TODO: ” and “TODO: “.
Just got my invite for the beta, thanks guys! I first used reinvigorate back in 2002 and I loved it back then and I’m sure I’ll love it even more now!
Hi Guys
Just got your invitation to the new beta..
Am excited to see how it works!
Thanks
